that and...please email the two addys listed with your show of support..i sent this to them..
Let the woman stay! She is 82 years old and deserves to finish her life in her home. With all the horrible things going on in this world tossing an old woman out at that age is probably not a bad thing to some folks. But to alot of us its just plain wrong. What does the forest service need her home for anyhow? They have done without it for 25 years already. I cant imagine its a necessity now. Please do the right thing here. Renew this county's faith in human kindness. I know its not asking too much at her age to be allowed to finish her life in her home. The Forest Service will have their land back in less years than they have done without it.

this is a tough call... im kinda divided on it.. both from a personal and from a professional point of view... in one sense a deal is a deal... and you hafta live up to your end when its time... if they change their minds on this it opens the door for another hundred petitions and letters demanding things in other similar or even not similar situations... but on the other hand a little compassion wouldnt hurt... we are talking about an elderly lady who in a way was robbed of her right to live there for the rest of her days...its not really gonna hurt anything i dont guess... other than the parasitic individuals who would choose to use it as an example..one of those "you let that old lady out of her contract why not me?" type deals... its gonna be a tough choice for anyone to make... im just glad i dont hafta make the decision or look in the mirror when its done...

I do agree with you evo..i had to stop and think about the legal side of it too..Ive looked back and thought about it all..I have never heard of the forest service making a deal like this before..so i took it ..this was a special contract or something ..things done 25 years ago would never be done today..you know what i mean? I also thought to myself..she is after all 82..it wont be long before she is unable to live by herself..so when that happens they should get their land back..i figure whats a few more years..I guess it all comes down to moral..or legal..I wanted to see moral win this time..but its highly unlikly that it will...thats just how the world is today..
